Northwest Airlines Pilots' Licenses Revoked For Using Laptops While Flying

We all know that texting while driving is dangerous. Hell, texting while walking can even get you killed. But, texting using a laptop while flying an Airbus 320, that just ups the bar on stupidity. Two Northwest Airlines pilots flew past their destination by 150 miles last week. Neither pilot was aware of their location until a flight attendant asked them when the plane would be landing. The plane landed around an hour after it was scheduled to arrive.
Each pilot accessed and used his personal laptop computer while they discussed the airline crew flight scheduling procedure, the report said.
The first officer, who was more familiar with the procedure, was providing instruction to the captain."Neither pilot said he was aware of where the plane was until a flight attendant called the cockpit about five minutes before the plane was to have landed and asked their estimated time of arrival, the report said.
The captain said, at that point, he looked at his primary flight display for an ETA and realized that they had passed the airport, it added. After 78 minutes of radio silence, the pilots re-established radio contact with air traffic controllers.
Both Pilot Timothy B. Cheney (20,000 hours) and First Officer Richard I. Cole (11,000 hours) have extensive amounts of flight time. The FAA has revoked both of the pilots' licenses for their computer usage. The pilots claim they were using their laptops to check scheduling. The NTSB (not to be mistaken for NKOTB) released a statement informing the public that the use of personal laptops while flying a commercial airliner is against airline policy. No shit?
The 144 passengers of Northwest Flight 188 were all given $500 travel vouchers for the inconvenience.

Thx for this article, but as you know these two pilots are part of a huge TEST PROGRAM to determine how effective anti-terror agencies NORAD and HOMELAND SECURITY are.
There is NO logical explanation as to why or how these two very experienced pilots could have veered off course AND have been out of contact with air-traffic control for over an hour?!
Go to the site: www.Wikipedia.org to read an account of this incident and then ask yourself the question: if the incident happened on Wed Oct 21, 2009 why did it take until Mon Oct 26, 2009 for them to give their "explanation" as to what they were doing?
Please also take a look at their names: RICHARD COLE and TIMOTHY CHENEY...and then take a look at former VP DICK CHENEY's name...these two pilots names are CODE WORDS.
RICHARD = DICK (NICK NAME)
COLE = USS COLE (SHIP TARGETED AS TERRORIST ATTACK IN 2000)
TIMOTHY = AS IN AMERICAN TERRORIST TIMOTHY McVEIGH
CHENEY= AS IN VP DICK CHENEY
These two pilots were in direct internet communication with former VP DICK CHENEY who was in control of this incident.
There is no logical explanation that can justify why NORAD was not in immediate surveillence of this flight after flight had been out of contact with air traffic control the first ten minutes, much less over an hour!
This incident was a TEST to see how easy it would be to breach national security measures in order to stage and carry out another "terrorist attack"...we all know that Sept 11, 2001 was not the work of "Al-Qaeda" or "Osama Ben-Laden" but indeed the work of the SHADOW GOVERNMENT OF BUSH+CHENEY.
This whole sickening incident is just the first in many incidents we will see leading up to whatever the SHADOW GOVERNMENT has in store for us here in the USA...ever hear of shutting people up and shutting things down with MARTIAL LAW...that my friend is what we are about to see come to fruition.
