Bugatti Veyron vs McLaren F1 - Top Gear Drag Race

This is a drag race I've been wanting to see ever since the Veyron came out. One of my favorite shows, Top Gear pairs up the 1,001 hp Bugatti Veyron with a top speed of 252 mph against a 627 hp McLaren F1, top speed of 240 mph, in a one mile drag race. Will the 1,500 lb weight difference help the McLaren edge out the heavier, but more powerful Veyron?
