Man Watches Every Episode of Friends for 84 Hours Straight

31-year-old Steve Misiura set out to do the impossible, the unthinkable, the what? Misiura needed money for school, so he decided to watch EVERY episode of Friends in one single sitting. It took him a total of 84 hours and 40 minutes of tube viewing, which beat the old record of 72 hours. After 50 hours Misiura started twitching. Around 80 hours in, he began to hallucinate. Here he lists his viewing schedule.

"10 Seasons, 236 episodes, 84 hours...all in 1 sitting!
I have now finished watching the Emmy award winning hit TV series. I watched the series in one go, viewing each episode back-to-back. All in the name of my education... I started at 6am on 31st July and finished at 5.40pm on the 3rd August. It took 83 hours and 40 minutes. I have therefore broken the world record for 'Non-Stop Television Watching'. The record previously stood at 72 hours! I have extended the record by just over 11 and a half hours.
I'm trying to raise funds for my school fees so I can attend the post-grad Advanced Theatre Practice - Directing Strand at the prestigious Central School of Speech and Drama this Autumn.
And I need your help....if you could possibly sponsor me in this madness - I'll be eternally grateful and utterly indebted
I love Friends, but this did indeed hurt...."

Steve raised £1,500 ($2,500) of the £7,000 ($11,800) he needs to attend an acting course in London. He is still waiting to hear back from The Guinness Book of World Records officials about his achievement.

Really we don't see what the big deal is. We start hallucinating around an hour into watching friends. Then again, maybe it's all those mushrooms we eat before hand...hmm.
