Picking up your brand new car is supposed to be a joyous occasion.  What made this instance even more joyous for this particular buyer is the fact that he picked it up from the Autostadt in Wolfsburg, basically picking it up directly off of the line.

Now for the unjoyous part:  The buyer and four of his friends took off in this beauty of a vehicle and, doing about 75 mph in a 35 mph zone, hit four trees and left the vehicle looking like the included pics. Tragically, four of them died and one of them is currently in serious condition.  This goes to show, you don't mess around with serious power like this.  This vehicle carries 170 horses with the TDI 2.0 liter and only weighs about 3095 lbs which can produce a lot of torque for someone not used to driving something like that.
