You Don't Need a Key at This Hotel

Bryan Berg, a professional cardstacker, was commissioned to construct this 400 square foot “guest house” for Holiday Inn.  Holiday Inn is relaunching its hotels world-wide and wanted something to commemorate the occasion.  You can rent the room, located in Manhattan, up until September 21st.

Couple of points on this

  1. How do you “relaunch” your hotel chain? They're already there.  Don't forget, you can't polish a turd.
  2. How the hell do you become a professional cardstacker?  How can you call that a “profession”?  Sounds like you would be sitting around a lot eating ramen noodles and cheez whiz.  I mean, how can you manage to make enough money to survive?  Card stacking lessons?

Bryan will also be building a freestanding 9 ft tall replica of the Empire State Buidling in the lobby of the card hotel.  Which is cool and all, but he's done this before.  His most recent record was set at 25 feet and 9 inches.  9 feet, Bryan?  Sounds like you're taking a step backwards there, buddy.  How about we step it up a notch?  We're thinking a swarm of bees, an industrial fan, and a gator pit.
