200 Birds Vs Boeing Plane
Wed, September 30, 2009
More than 200 starlings were sucked into the engine of this Boeing jet as it reached speeds over 200 m.p.h. during take off. Many other birds damaged the plane's fuselage, but fortunately didn't pierce it. The Germania airlines flight was leaving from the Dusseldorf airport, on it's way to Kosovo. The plane had 80 passengers on board when the engine was suddenly turned into an airborne bird dicer.
