Some moron appeared in a Paris courtroom yesterday for attempting to bring down a plane by shining a laser at the pilot. He was performing his one man laser light show while standing near the runway of the Paris Orly airport. Three pilots had to complain to the control tower before the man ended up getting caught in the act and arrested by police. A spokesperson from Air France said the pilot was never in any real danger, but noted that these sorts of incidents are becoming more frequent. I wonder what the guy would've done if he had made a plane crash?

40-year-old Paul Hutton was pulled over while driving an electric Barbie Power Wheels car outside his home in Essex. Hutton is a former RAF aeronautical engineer who had put larger wheels on the car as part of a project for his son's car mechanics class. He had his license stripped for 3 years since this was his second drinking and driving offense within a ten year period. Hutton was twice the legal limit when he was pulled over. The top speed of this electric vehicle you may ask? Under 4 mph.
