Robotic LEGO Chess

This Monster Chess set was created by Team Hassenplug for the Brickworld convention which takes place this weekend in Chicago. The set measures 12 feet on each side and is controlled with a laptop. The team used 100,000 LEGO blocks to construct the board and pieces. The cost to build, including the robotic parts came in at $30,000. This is the only way I want to play chess from now on. Sorry iPhone.

Indoor Mini Golf Course

This ultimate drinking game just made the list. Constructed entirely out of wood, this mini golf course would tuck nicely into the corner of your newly acquired airplane hanger / fantasy factory.

Imagine playing some Super Mario 3 while your console is belting out some prison tunes. Yeah, that wouldn't be annoying at all.
