2011 McLaren MP4-12C

Since the production of the McLaren F1 ended in 1998, we've all been waiting for a new, entirely McLaren creation to emerge. They've put their name and expertise into multiple cars since then, but none have been truly McLaren. The waiting ends in early 2011 for those lucky enough to get their hands on one of the one thousand built for the first production year. Though the $250,000 price tag isn't cheap, it is definitely easier to swallow than the predecessor's 1998 price of $970,000 (the last production McLaren F1 from their showroom floor sold last year for $4.1 million).
The McLaren MP4-12C was designed from completely new parts, nothing from any previous model has been reused. The strength of the MP4-12C comes from the super light and hollow full carbon fiber tub the body is constructed around. A 3.8 liter, twin-turbocharged V8 will push out around 600hp. All of this seemlessly applied by the 7-speed paddle shifters.
